TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
